Welcome back to The Intelligence Brief. May was a full month — three Intelligence Layers went live for founding clients, the content library doubled in size, and we launched a new ongoing series on the shifts reshaping search. Here’s everything worth knowing.
Platform Pulse
Three big moves this month:
ARION, OLIVER, and SPARK are live. Founding clients received onboarding access this month. Intelligent Analytics will handle your setup and you’ll receive links to your services as you’re onboarded. If you’re on the waitlist and haven’t heard from us yet, you will soon.
SEO Intelligence Series launched. A new ongoing series covering the major shifts in search — GEO, Google AI Mode, and what they mean for your web presence. Two posts are live, more coming. Written by Brandon and designed to go deeper than most SEO content does.
Content library now at 15+ posts. All six Intelligence Layers have editorial coverage. New posts publish twice a week across IL articles, How-To resources, and Brandon’s Take.

Why You’ll Remember Reading This Tomorrow (But Forget Most of Today)
New research from Rockefeller University reveals your brain uses molecular “timers” to decide what gets kept in long-term memory — and most experiences don’t make the cut. It’s not a failure of attention. It’s an optimization. Your brain is pruning the irrelevant to keep the signal clean.
This one has a practical angle that changes how you think about learning, retention, and why your memory works the way it does.

IL Spotlight — SPARK | Sales Pipeline, Automation & Relationship Kinetics
SPARK is the CRM and marketing automation layer of the Intelligent Analytics platform — built to manage contact records, lead follow-up, and automated nurture sequences across the entire customer lifecycle.
Only 5% of leads are sales-ready when generated. The other 95% need a nurture system to convert — not a single follow-up call. SPARK handles that automatically: behavior-triggered sequences, contact history that carries across the platform, and re-engagement flows that run without anyone having to remember to send them.

From the SEO Intelligence Series
This month we launched an ongoing series covering the biggest shifts in how search works. Two posts are live:
What Is GEO? The Small Business Guide to Generative Engine Optimization — the foundation post. What GEO is, why it’s different from SEO, and what small service businesses need to do about it.
Google Just Changed How Search Works. Here’s What It Means for Your Business. — a deep look at AI Mode, query fan-out, and the practical steps that matter right now.
If you manage a website or care about being found online, these are worth reading.
More From the Blog This Month

When SaaS Stops Working: Custom Software vs Off-the-Shelf — FORGE
Why Your Invoicing Process Is Costing You More Than You Think — OLIVER
Your Website Speed Is a Ranking Factor — ARION
95% of Your Leads Aren’t Ready to Buy Yet — SPARK
What Workflow Automation Actually Does for a Small Business — ARGUS

Resources & Reading
Three things worth your time this month:
Google’s AI Mode is live and changing how search works. If you haven’t tested it yet, open a new Google search, click the “AI Mode” tab, and ask something you’d normally search. The difference from traditional results is significant — and worth understanding before your competitors do. Google AI Mode →
The lithium supply chain problem may have a solution. Columbia Engineering published a method that could unlock lithium reserves current technology can’t reach — including deposits beneath California’s Salton Sea estimated at 370 million EV batteries worth. The environmental questions aren’t fully answered yet, but the engineering is genuinely interesting. Columbia Engineering →
Memory research is reframing how we think about forgetting. Rockefeller University’s molecular timer findings suggest your brain actively prunes memories — not randomly, but as an optimization. The Alzheimer’s implications alone make this worth reading. ScienceDaily →
What’s Next — June 2026
STELLA goes live — business data management and unit economics for founding clients. If you’ve been waiting for the reporting layer, it’s coming.
Quantum Computing Series launches — a new Brandon’s Take series going deep on quantum computing. Personal, educational, and designed to build genuine understanding over time rather than surface-level explainers.
Portfolio Showcase section launches — Platform in Practice walkthroughs, build stories, and real outcomes. The first posts are in production.
Newsletter moves to 1st and 15th — starting in July as the subscriber list grows.
